| Your first step is to
make sure you have an "Unlimited
Data Plan" with Sprint as
this gives you unlimited access to
the internet. If you have the data
plan in place then.... |

- On your phone, click the menu
key and select "Net",
then scroll down to "Downloads
& Services", press "OK".
- Then scroll down to "Applications",
and then scroll to "ALL CATEGORIES"
and press "OK".
- Then select "GPS"
and press "OK".
- Then select "People Tracker
by Quik-Trac", then press
"OK".
- Scroll down through the description
to option #3 9.99. and press "OK"
- Next all you do is press "BUY"
and select the payment option,
Credit Card or Nextel Billing.
- After your purchase you will
be able to download, install,
and register the program on the
phone.
- Once you have registered, you
can go to www.quik-trac.com and
login with the same user name
and password you used to register
the application on your phone
and within 3-4 minutes you will
see your position displayed on
a map in QuikTrac.
- DO NOT CLOSE THE APPLICATION
ON YOUR PHONE AS THIS WILL STOP
THE PHONE FROM REPORTING TO THE
SERVER. ALLOW 3-4 MINUTES FOR
THE FIRST REPORT TO GET TO THE
SERVER SO YOU CAN SEE IT. You
will be able to adjust the reporting
time from the website under "Options"
and then select "Track".
Allow 3-4 minutes to adjust the
reporting interval you select.

You may add more phones
to your account by doing the same
procedure with each phone, but do
not select "New User"
on the other phones as you only
do that with the first registration.
You may also download the "Fleet
Edition" and the "Fleet
Edition Update" for more enhanced
features that work with Microsofts
MapPoint. To see your units, login
in with the phone number of the
first unit and no password, and
you will be asked to "Syncronize"
your units. This will automatically
bring all your units into the program
so you can track them. If you need

If you decide Quik-Trac is not for
you, dial 611 on your phone to cancel.
