Quik-Trac requires a cellular telephone enabled with GPS/Java Application capability. Currently Nextel Communications and SouthernLINC telephones as manufactured by Motorola and a service contract with Quik-Trac's Fleet or Personal edition is required to use this service.

Service is only available at this time within Nextel's or SouthernLINC coverage area and may be subject to service outages due to tower locations, tall building or structures, concrete or other obstructions that interfere with the line of sight to the GPS satellites or transmission of data to the Nextel/SouthernLINC tower system. These circumstances are not under the control of Quik-Trac and therefore Quik-Trac cannot assure service that is not subject to flaw.

Federal, State and City taxes may apply where applicable.

Quik-Trac relies on existing emergency service providers, motorclubs, traffic and weather services, as well as wireless and satellite technologies and services and is subject to their limitations.
